Director of Pricing

Our client, one of the leaders in the B2B/EAI software integration space, has a need for a Director of Pricing.
This client is building a world-class marketing organization and they are looking for people who want to make an impact, can perform their jobs with minimum oversight, and who want to be part of a fast-growing, major software firm.


Responsibilities
Assists in achieving Company and departmental goals and objectives by managing the solution pricing function; defining pricing and pricing policies that maximize the revenue potential of the Client?s product families.

? Supports Marketing, F&A and Global Sales by managing the functions associated with researching and proposing pricing, policies, product pricing, solution pricing, international uplifts, and exchange rates for all global channels. Works with customers, analysts, vendors and internal organizations to track pricing trends and incorporate findings into Client?s solutions pricing strategies.
? Manages the responsibility of obtaining feedback from and educating direct and indirect sales channels on Client?s pricing models and strategies.
? Works with Business Development group, business partner, and alliance companies to establish pricing policies, which are consistent with Client?s pricing strategies and revenue objectives.
? Manages and maintains all pricing information in the electronic price book and works with IT organization to manage access to the price book through the distribution of ids and passwords.
? Communicates with Solutions Management team to ensure that pricing strategies can be executed and billed appropriately.
? Collaborates with Solutions Marketing management team to define solution pricing and policies.
? Works with internal and external groups to design, evaluate, and maintain pricing tools to support direct and indirect sales channels. Investigates, recommends and oversees implementation of new pricing strategies or models.
? Oversees, manages and executes all price increases to existing customer base, as necessary.
? Manages department, which serves as a point of contact for direct and indirect sales channels for addressing pricing questions.

 

Qualifications
Education: BA in Marketing, Business Administration or related field with 7+ years experience in a marketing/pricing environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires proven ability in researching markets and competitors, and marketing plans and knowledge of supervisory principles.
