Director of Program Management

Coordinates, manages, and drives complex, multi-phase technology based projects, working with multiple Company business units.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

 

1. Work closely with retail business management and appropriate business units to identify and scope out complex project plans to enhance and manage Banking Systems. Interface with multiple departments, and assist in the coordination and development of staff and requirements for technical projects, enhancements and modification initiatives as required.

 

2. Interface with business unit management from multiple areas of the Company to develop detailed functional and technical specification documents and project plans for assigned projects. Dialogue with design staff to develop project plans to enhance front-end functionality, content and applications as necessary.

 

3. Develop, manage, and drive detailed project plans that culminate in the delivery of end to end solutions for assigned customer segments. Interface with multiple departments as required. Ensure project, compliance and regulatory standards are followed at all times and that projects are completed in a timely, cost-effective manner. Ensure operational risk issues are identified and pro-actively managed to minimize risk for the Company.

 

4. Work with senior business management to prioritize and develop solutions that attract, retain and expand customer relationships and drive revenue and cost savings and maximize contribution to economic profit.

 

5. Serve as a front-end consultant to other areas of the Company as required providing recommendations and options for the technology needs of assigned business teams.

 

6. Identify enhancement opportunities for the principal delivery channel of assigned businesses to respond to changing market, customer service and technological conditions. Research alternatives, prepare business cases for management approval and coordinate implementation of cases approved.

 

7. Ensure compliance monitoring is in place, including processes for management of operational risk, in accordance with regulatory standards.

 

8. Complete other related duties as assigned, provide management direction to foster effective selection, development and reward of subordinates while contributing to initiatives in support of the Company's Diversity programs.

 Requirements :

This position requires an individual with:

 

- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology or related field and a minimum of seven years proven and progressive project management experience or equivalent.

 

- Strong project management, planning, organizational, lateral thinking, time management and communications skills; proficiency with personal computers and internet-related systems; detail-orientation; ability to work successfully in a team environment with a strong customer focus, work with various levels within the organization, meet established deadlines and deal with multiple, changing priorities; and a strong business and marketing focus.

 

- Demonstrated relationship management skills is a must.

 

- Project management certification preferred.
