Disaster / Recovery Engineer

At our headquarters facility located in St. Louis (Earth City), we are looking for a Disaster Recovery Engineer who will be responsible for the overall architecture and design of Forest?s business continuity requirements at the infrastructure level.



In this position, the selected applicant will work closely with Forest business units and IT developing, maintaining and testing disaster recovery plans.   Primary emphasis will be placed on planning and implementation surrounding critical business applications in our mid-west and east coast based data center facilities. 

 

The primary duties for this position will include:

? Design and implement disaster recovery policies and procedures based on industry best practices

? Maintain, test and audit disaster recovery procedures and upgrade system hardware/software as appropriate

? Coordinate quarterly testing of the disaster recovery plans

? Document and report on test findings and remediation plans

? Maintain portfolio of critical services and applications requiring disaster recovery procedures





 

To qualify you must have:

? Bachelor?s degree in computer science or equivalent education and professional work experience

? 5 years experience in contingency planning or business planning role

? Strong presentation and communication skills

? History of technical design and delivery capabilities
