Domain Administrator (Active Directory expertise)

HCS Systems is currently seeking a Domain Administrator with a strong Active Directory background. The candidate must have excellent customer service, leadership, communication and teamwork skills.



Job duties include:

Provide NT4 Domain and Active Directory support for Technical Services-Operations Team.

Provide reports on research of new technologies as assigned.

Provide documentation on procedures as assigned.

Provide reports on assigned projects



Required Skills:

*Candidate will have proficient knowledge of Windows NT4 Server and Enterprise Server, Windows 2000/2003 Server and the services therein (DHCP, WINS, Active Directory, IIS, terminal Server, etc)

*18-24 Months of NT4/AD domain administration experience in an enterprise setting

*Ability to create/modify VB scripts to aid in day-to-day management of the domain

*Account creation/management

*Understanding of security policies and settings

*Thorough understanding of NTFS file permissions

*Ability to handle mass data structure reorganizations on file servers

*Performance monitoring of domain resources

*Systems recovery options for domains

*Attention to detail

*Tight organizational skills

*Ability to talk with customers/units to define requirements



Desired Skills:

*Strong organization skills, self directed & project experience

*Previous experience working in a state government agency
