Develop and support Lotus Notes applications as a member of part of a unified IT organization. Deliver and manage off-the-shelf and custom developed solutions developed in Lotus Notes/Domino and its associated technologies including JavaScript, WebMethods and LEI throughout the complete application delivery lifecycle.



Work with business representatives, IT colleagues, etc. to deliver projects, enhancements, support and solutions. • Design, configure, validate, deploy and provide post-production support for Lotus Domino applications. • Solicit business requirements from appropriate business contacts. • Perform industry analysis, proof of concept testing, and design validation. • Create quality documentation on tools developed. • Manage trouble tickets and their priority in the appropriate tool (Remedy), and project work in the appropriate tool (PMOffice). • Participate in the development and management of operating plans, including individual goals, appropriate metrics, etc. • Contribute to evolution of software life cycle methodologies and tools. • Adhere to appropriate use of software life cycle methodologies and tools (including code development, code commenting, Unit testing, User Acceptance Testing, etc). • Awareness and adherence to Applera Service Level Agreements. • Ensure the on-time and on-budget delivery of projects. • Facilitate and/or coordinate interactions with other functions within IT as needed to deliver results. • Define and adhere to processes needed to understand the needs of internal customers, whether inside or outside of IT. • In-depth knowledge and relevant technical areas (e.g. Lotus Notes, Lotus Enterprise Integration, Java, other IBM technologies) • Overall understanding of internal customer business, goals and objectives, strategies, and needs. • Solid understanding of web technologies such as XML, CSS, and DHTML. • Strategic thinking. • Identify opportunities, risks, and resources required to deliver business results • Build and articulate internal customer value propositions • Bachelor's degree (B.S./B.A.) in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, related field or equivalent experience. • Requires at least 5 years of successful experience in software development, project management, systems engineering, or information technology where increasing levels of responsibility and capability have been demonstrated. • Experience in the management of an Applications Delivery organization or related function. • Experience with a Lotus Notes development or administrative department.
