The LMC Community Foundation (LMCCF) has an immediate opening for a full-time Raiser's Edge 7.8 database expert.

LMC Community Foundation was founded in 1975 and has a rich history serving as the fundraising arm of Exempla Lutheran Medical Center. As a community foundation since 1998, LMCCF supports a number of community initiatives to foster health, well being, and a better community for all. Come join our twelve-person team.

The Data Specialist will process donor gifts and maintain our Raiser's Edge database to provide support for the Development, Communication, and Finance activities of LMCCF. The essential functions of the person in this role:
Data entry: Operate as the primary system analyst for our Raiser's Edge database. This includes maintaining the database with accurate, timely data input, and maintenance of our paper filing system.
Donor acknowledgement: Maintain a timely gift acknowledgement process.
Donor interaction: Provide professional assistance and interaction with donors, via phone, computer, and face-to-face contact.
Report generation: Produce reports to support Development, Communications, and Finance activities, and develop new reports as requested. This includes pledge tracking and reconciling donor gifts to daily / monthly bank deposits and General Ledger.
Communications support: Generate mailing lists. Assist with the creation of direct mail and other campaigns.
Donor intelligence: Analyze data with multiple constituencies and attributes to extract essential information to assist development efforts.
Prospect identification: Identify potential suspects / prospects in the current donor database in order to support our moves management system.
Database system management: Oversee system security. Maintain / augment gift processing policies and procedures documentation. Evaluate / implement data upgrades. Develop system enhancements and implement new system upgrades.
Grant Applications: Ability to assist with and complete grant applications
Other duties as requested by LMCCF management. We are a small office and we all pitch in to assure the success of projects and events.

Minimum Qualifications:
Excellent knowledge of, and experience with Raiser's Edge/Blackbaud software, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel is absolutely required.
High School diploma or equivalent; prefer college degree.
Prefer 1 or more years of Raiser's Edge experience.
Diplomatic, professional, and pleasant interactive style.
Accuracy / proofreading skills.
Possess the ability to share workload, creative ideas, and actively participate in a team environment.
