Description
Looking for experienced C# programmer to work in the Enterprise Applications & Systems Management group. The position entails designing and implementing Graphical User Interface (GUI) using C# for controlling and monitoring applications in a distributed environment. The environment is mixed platform: Linux, Solaris, and Windows.
GROUP FUNCTION:
EASM stands for Enterprise Applications and Systems Management. We provide both in-house and vendor prodcuts for monitoring and managing Unix and Windows applications in the enterprise.

JOB FUNCTION UPON JOINING THE GROUP:
Design, implement, and support the Zapp product.

Zapp is an application management system that launches and monitors applications across the network. The system is consisted of servers running in Unix and GUI clients running in Windows. GUI clients allow users to remotely monitor and control applications.



HOW MUCH CLIENT INTERACTION (INTERNAL vs EXTERNAL):
There will be client interaction for requirement gathering and trouble shooting.

HOW MUCH PRODUCTION SUPPORT:
30% support and 70% development. No on call time anticipated.



Skills Required
Candidate must have strong C# development and debugging skills. Must be experienced with Visual Studio and/or other development and debugging tools. Must demonstrate good understanding of distributed and multi-thread programming, as well as SOAP/XML processing. Candidate must also demonstrate strong interest and creativity in designing Graphical User Interface.

Skills Desired
Fast learning and self motivating. Languages: C++, Perl, and possibly Java in the future.
