EDI and IT Manager



Established and growing business located is sunny downtown Delray Beach, Florida is looking for EDI/IT Specialist to come join the team. Our company is a wholesale distribution operation that sells through to major retailers on a national and international scale. This position requires someone who is a self starter with good organizational and communication skills. Position requirements: Strong analytical and problem solving skillsMust be detail and task oriented; organized, able to multi-task and manage work under pressure to meet multiple, concurrent deadlines.  Strong computer skills are essential.  Advanced interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.  Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.  Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.  The position will require a highly motivated and self-directed individual.

Job Responsiblities: The overall direction and management of the EDI departmentEDI implementation, production support and testing for over 35 trading partnersEnsure the integrity of all EDI transmissions, both inbound and outboundContinuously upgrade partners and documents to meet the most current versions and compliance requirementsMeeting all deadlines for Trading Partner initiatives, testing and productionSolving critical EDI issues in an urgent mannerMaintaining updated documentation for all partners and communicate regularly with their EDI departments.  Maintaining all EDI cross-referencesProducing documentation and procedures regarding the proper use and operation of the EDI environmentProvide troubleshooting wherever neededProvide testing and partner interface with an emphasis on communications excellence.  Manage the Warehouse Management System software that integrates shipping, receiving, inventory management and ASN auto-production for a large remote warehouse via Citrix.  Direct the overall management of the Information Technology department.  This includes a commitment to having all machines and peripherals up and running at all times.  Manage the data backup of the system on a daily basis, keep anti-virus software definitions up to date and monitor the servers for spyware and virus attacks.  Create and modify Crystal reports on an as-needed basis.  Administer the firewall, plan hurricane contingency, install hardware and software, provide networking support, perform regular system utilities and maintenance on all machines, monitor the T1 line, and assist in user help and training.  Interface with Exact Software as necessary.
