EDI SOLUTION MANAGER/PROGRAMMER
EDI Solution Manager/Programmer
The EDI Systems Manager is responsible for EDI data Mapping, EDI business systems integration and programming. He/she also manages the EDI requirements of all trading partners. This position insures communication is maintained between client EDI departments, program managers, finance, and shipping to coordinate EDI development and testing. This includes but is not limited to the following tasks:
? EDI Mapping and Translation Integration
o Review and analyze trading partner EDI specifications.
o Develop, implement, maintain and modify transaction set maps and reports according to trading partner?s EDI specifications using the map editor.
o Coordinate, schedule and perform system wide testing on all EDI transactions for correctness.
? EDI Support
o Manually translate, distribute and transmit missing or bypassed transactions.
o Detect and resolve problems with production jobs.
? GIS Administration
o Deploy, set up and administer trading partner envelope profiles, AS2 profiles, certificates, business processes, code lists, services, schedules and maps in GIS.
o Monitor processed and bypassed EDI transactions sets that were translated or transmitted.
o Apply patches and licenses, monitor database usage and help develop business processes to translate and transmit transaction sets using GIS?s business process modeler.
? Crystal Enterprise/Reports
o Provide Crystal Enterprise user and user group additions, moves and changes.
o Develop and organizes EDI transaction set reports.
? MS SQL Server
o Insert, update or delete data from the cross reference tables (email list, map xref and contract # xref) used for EDI translation.
o Add transaction set tables for report development.
SAPSet up EDI customers in WE20.Configure inbound and outbound parameters for EDI customers in WE20.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: B.A./B.S. Computer Science or Equivalent Preferred.
Years Experience: Minimum 5 Years Direct SAP/EDI Project Experience.
