EESOH-MIS Hazardous Waste - Management Consultant 5

In this position you will act as the functional subject matter expert for the Air Force Enterprise Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health-Management Information System (EESOH-MIS) Hazardous Waste media, ensuring user requirements and functionality are incorporated into the software development process as approved by the Functional Working Groups and Review Boards. You will provide technical and functional expertise and support in program management, data management, and related specialties in the research and development of Automation systems. You will provide oversight to ensure that the user requirements are carried out in the development of EESOH-MIS. You will work with base-level functional experts in the analysis, definition, and modeling of the activities, inputs, outputs, controls, and mechanisms that support the Hazardous Waste business practices. You will need a strong knowledge of the Hazardous Waste Business processes performed by the Air Force and a willingness to learn the Software Development Process. You'll update schedules and establish and complete suspenses on a monthly basis. You'll also coordinate training and develop implementation plans and then carry out those plans. You should possess excellent communication skills and the ability to brief people in all levels of management. You will support and coordinate software testing.

Experience in the following areas is required:

Bachelors degree with 15 years experience with 5 + years experience in Air Force CE Environmental Hazardous Waste media.
Years of experience may be traded for degree requirement.
US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a secret security clearance.
Microsoft Office.
Experience in the following areas is an asset:

Project management experience with experience in the software development process is an asset.
