ERP Analyst, ABAP Developer

Under moderate supervision, configures, customizes, deploys, maintains and upgrades Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) application modules. Analyzes user requirements to determine ERP system configuration and customization. Implements, maintains and upgrades ERP application modules. Assists in systems planning, scheduling and implementation. Initiates corrective action to stay on schedule. Provides programming and operations support more moderately complex ERP application modules. Typically requires two to three years of proven experience through knowledge and skill base.Responsible for the development, and maintenance of enterprise SAP systems.
Assist the IT Team Lead with the development, rollout and production support of the SAP modules.
Assist in the design, development, implementation and support of technical Specifications related to all aspects of the Nucleus project within the established timeframes and budgets.
Ensure all development processes and methodologies are followed to ensure quality deliverables that meet the customer's needs.
Provide expertise in SAP functionality, perform the execution of systems maintenance, enhancement and production support to ensure that service level expectations for functionality, availability, performance, security and control are fulfilled.
Candidate will be required to maintain current technical skills to ensure the long-term viability of all systems developed while continuing to develop new skillsets.
Project management skills and the ability to partner with Enterprise Technology Services to ensure effective teamwork in the planning, development, operation and support of assigned systems is required.Four-year college degree in computer science, information systems or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Two to three years experience in SAP R/3 (version 4.6c or Enterprise a plus), and comprised of one or more of the following; ABAP, ALE, BAPI, RFC, BDC, IDOC, LSMW, EDI, Smart Forms and SAP Script.
Experience with Oracle, Unix desired.
Experience with Enterprise Portals web development, CRM, SEM, or APO a plus.
Able to understand business requirements and write IT requirements definitions.
Assist in the development and maintenance of work plans and test plans.
Understand general order to cash and supply chain business principles.
Strong communication skills both technical and functional.
Strong project management background.
Experienced in a structured development methodologies.
Ability to perform on call duties and perform after hours/weekend support.
High level of customer service focus required.
Ability to interface with and influence personnel at all levels of the ConAgra Foods Enterprise.
A high sense of urgency.
