ETL Architect

Our client, one of the nations most respected providers of financial and investment information, currently seeks an ETL Architect for a position in Alexandria, VA.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:Will work with the business to create useful, intelligible reports from vast amounts of dataWill be responsible for building out the data warehouseWill increase the timeliness and accuracy of our reports by creating reliable and well-documented ETL processesWill improve our OLAP capabilities through the design and implementation of a quality data warehouse

 

QUALIFICATIONS: Mastery of SQLDemonstrated experience in building and maintaining dimensional data marts, includingCreation of customer, time, product and other dimensionsImplementation of OLAP cubes, MS platform preferredProviding an access tier to non-OLAP dataMinimum 4 years of hands on database use, preferably MSSQLProficient in ETL technology, preferably DTS/SSIS Experience managing and maintaining meta-dataLogging success, failure and progress of data loading jobsCataloging definitions, calculations and origins of dataDemonstrated experience with managing data mart projects BS or BA required
