ETL Datastage Developer

COMSYS is supporting a large financial company in St. Louis, MO for an ETL Datastage Developer. Strong Datastage, design, Unix and DB2 required. Please review the details below and apply on-line if you are interested.

 

Job Description
Experience: 4 year degree plus 7-10 years experience development experience. A minimum of 4 years working in large scale data warehouses.
Description: Acts in a high-level technical role as a designer and developer for major computer applications utilizing a thorough understanding of available technology, tools, and existing designs. Works on extremely complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of intangible variance factors. Designs platforms, writes code, and develops tests. Acts as expert technical resource to programming staff in the program development, testing, and implementation process.
Required
Strong background in DB2 SQL and using DB2 utilities like load, import, export etc.
Experience w/ MQ Series
Experience in implemented ETL with SQL and Data Stage
Strong background in UNIX-AIX background. Must have at least 5 years experience with command line UNIX
Experience in writing triggers
Experience in using DB2 catalog tables.
Exposure to Business Objects
Exposure to Erwin/Model mart and/or Power designer.
Should be at least an 8 out of 10 in UNIX and SQL skill, with a minimum of 7 out of 10 in Datastage. Command line UNIX experience is absolutely required. No exceptions.
