Education Specialist

 

Job Purpose: To serve client by providing education services for Company?s Enterprise Planning solutions. 

 

Job Scope: The incumbent will provide Enterprise Planning Education Services to new and existing Company?s clients by performing the following activities:  conducting standard classroom and on-site training, providing assistance to students, maintenance of classroom environment, delivering standard/customized enterprise planning training, maintenance of high quality customer relations, promoting additional product sales and professional services, maintaining and upgrading self-knowledge of industry, market and products/solutions, and fulfilling administration requirements.  The incumbent will possess a college degree and 1-2 years of relevant experience.  Accounting/finance background preferred.

 

Essential Job Activities:

?  Conduct Standard Classroom Training BY:  Delivery of quality, standard training to Company?s customers in a standard classroom setting.  Standard classroom time is broken down as follows: 50% discussion oriented lectures, 40% hands on workshops and demonstrations and 10% Q & A.

?  Maintenance of High Quality Customer Relations BY:  Greeting students between 8:30 AM and 9:00 AM (before class begins) as well as Q&A sessions after class ends (generally between 4:30 PM and 5:30 PM).  Follow up on all questions/issues and forward appropriate information to sales rep or regional services manager.

?  Provision of Assistance to Students BY: Contribute to student?s understanding of material during workshops and demonstrations.

?  Promote additional Product Sales and Professional Services By: Conveying attendee list to local office before class dates.  Forwarding any information received from attendees to the Company?s sales team in identifying additional license opportunities and where or how additional services can contribute to the clients Company?s solution. 

?  Maintenance of Classroom Environment BY: Unpacking of boxes and storage of classroom materials, general cleaning of the classroom facilities (white board, computers, etc).

?  Maintain and Upgrade self-knowledge of Industry, Market & Products/Solutions BY: Attending product training classes, Internal Training Days, Kickoff, self study, New Product Release, and Field Support, external courses and seminars.  Attend training courses as designated by specified career development plan.

?  Deliver Standard/Customized Enterprise Planning Training BY: Conducting Onsite Classes.  Work with contact on specific customer needs, arrangements and classroom set up. Handling one on one training during assignment and follow up on questions about internal training and forward information to Education Manager.

?  Fulfill Administration Requirements BY: Timely and accurate submission of expense reports, timesheets, sign-in sheets, inventory, etc.

 

Travel subject to business requirements.

College Degree and/or Equivalent Work-related Experience (1-2 Years) Finance/Accounting experience required
