Accenture?s Services workforce is a dedicated team of people who work on outsourcing engagements. These are long-term partnerships with clients for whom we manage and provide increasingly specialized business operations, such as finance and accounting, IT, applications development and maintenance, help desk services, and HR.  We not only maintain key business functions for clients, we constantly seek to improve them to help our clients move ahead of the competition.

 

The Services workforce is made up of four groups: Client Operations, Project Based, Delivery Centers and BPO Businesses.  Most of our people in Services are based long-term at a client location, an Accenture Delivery Center or, in some cases, an Accenture office.

 

Overall responsibility for coordination, QC, and monitoring the loading of electronic data for CR&D protocols; possibly assigned to therapeutic area. Provide technical resource for data loaders and editors. Provide technical resource and support to the Clinical Science Coordination department for the loading of pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic data. Support software and infrastructure development and validation as needed.

 

Key responsibilities may include:

 

? Maintain communication between Therapeutic Areas (TA) staff , vendors and clinical staff.

? Review and comment on protocol-specific transfer and system design specifications.

? Application of systems development processes and techniques to the development and maintenance of e-data standards for use in TAs.

? Coordinate and monitor loading of electronic data for protocols.

? Thorough working knowledge of Clinical Data Loader (CDL) and high level Electronic Data Systems (EDS) processes.

? Resolve discrepancies due to technical issues

? Design, document, test and validate new load maps for vendor data.

? Validate new protocols as required and QC ongoing protocols.

? Maintain working knowledge of Oracle Clinical (OC) and CDM processes.

? Assist with mentoring off-shore data loaders and editors.

? Identify need for and assist with development of job aides and working procedures

? Application of systems analysis techniques and procedures, to determine system functional specifications and assist with development of user or system design specifications.

? Assist with design, development, documentation, analysis, testing and validation of the CDL and associated systems or programs, including prototypes, based on and related to user or system design specifications.

? On-going identification and documentation of system bugs/improvements.

? Provide support to Global Clinical Database (GCD).

? Contribute to writing and review of bulletins for new/updated processes and/or technology.

? Work with CR&D IT to resolve issues like error messages and downtime.

? Collect, review and submit user requests for GCD Enhancements.

? Evaluate software enhancements from a user perspective, solicit opinions on enhancements, and make suggestions for improvements.

? Provide support to central vendors.

? Attend TA meetings.

? Assist with workload tracking and distribution within Labs Team.
