Email Broadcast Project Analyst

Apple’s IS&T Email team is looking for someone to act as project coordinator to support operational delivery of Apple's bulk email communications.
This individual should have technical and analytical email broadcasting experience. In this role, you will be tasked with analyzing ongoing email operations and ensuring optimal delivery to customers' email inboxes. This will include working with internal support engineers as well as working with external ISP personnel.

You will act as a liaison to major ISPs in order to ensure speedy and complete delivery.

You will work with Marketing and other groups to manage the schedule for Operations projects and the delivery calendar (with an emphasis on purchase confirmations, product registrations, and newsletters). Manage and track the production schedule for the group.

Support message set-up and testing (HTML, Rich, and plain text), coordination of data, scheduling, quality control, and post project analytical support.

Work closely with IS&T email Operations team to address email related support issues. Responsible for fulfilling email performance reporting requirements used to analyze past and current delivery strategies as well as development of specific reports.

Work closely with internal business partners to understand future email requirements to provide assessments relating to production resources, development and delivery expectations, modifications to processes and production tool capabilities.

Assure that system loads and import/export performance are constantly functioning within defined standards - and track that performance against established benchmarks. Optimize delivery performance by communicating opportunities and insight.

Knowledge of different mail clients (ex - Mail.app, Entourage, Eudora, etc), and MIME multi-part messages. Knowledge of SMTP.

o Bachelor?s degree (in Marketing, Business, or Computer Science) and possess 3 or more years of professional experience in online database marketing and/or direct email production.

o Knowledge of UCE/spam/Internet privacy regulations
o Experience with en email delivery tool
o Experience with perl and /or SQL
