End User Technology Specialist

Participates as a staff member of the Treasury & Security Services, Commercial Bank, or Centralized Transaction Operations (TSS,CB,CTO) Optimization Program and Shard Technology Services Desktop Strategy team aggressively focused on reducing the cost of desktop technology and developing cross business strategy for desktop and related technologies. Primary responsibilities  include working closely with GTI Product staff and line of business technical/operational areas to gain insight into customer environment and technical needs, analyzing and documenting new technical reduction/optimization initiatives, developing cross business strategy.  Responsible for developing strategy for desktops that may include partnerships, conveying changes/ideas to the various stake holders, developing execution plans, and maintaining end to end accountability, providing support for the resolution of issues and working closely with all team members.  The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical instincts, quantitative skills, and a thorough understanding of desktop technologies.

 

The role's responsibilities will include:
Consultation with GTI End User Technology Product Managers and Architects to provide LoB requirements and feedback
Consultation with LoB Infrastructure Technology, Business Technology Infrastructure Managers, and Application Developers to gather their requirements, consolidate and present to GTI
Analyze, develop, substantiate, and validate technical/business and financial assumptions through primary and secondary research
Prepare and present strategy status and other activity tracking documents
Support senior program administrative projects


BA/BS Required
10 years of experience with End User Technologies (desktop, file & directory services, voice technology, electronic mail, etc.)
Strong Analytical skills
Treasury & Security Services, Commercial Bank, or Centralized Transaction Operations product knowledge preferred
Highly proficient with Lotus Notes, MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Self-Directed, highly motivated
Collaborative work style, effective in virtual team environment
Comfortable with communicating across all levels of management and all functions including Finance, Product, Technology, and Legal
Comfortable working in a dynamic environment, must be flexible, adaptable, and scalable
Creative, demonstrated ability to develop practical solutions
