We are currently recruiting for an Engineer ? Staff in our Dublin, Ohio CheckFree office. This position will be responsible for the following:

 Job Purpose

Under general supervision, exercise judgment within defined standard practice and procedures to analyze, test, design, program, debug, modify and implement computer programs or systems applications.

 

CIT: Under general supervision, follows standards and previous work examples, but uses creativity and establish analytical skills to improve and affect the product of their work. Exercises judgment within defined standard practice and procedures to analyze, design, program, debug, modify and implement business solutions. Conducts analysis of solution specifications and uses diagramming tools to represent business and technical processes. Recommends changes in support practices, maintenance and standards, and cross-training required to better share support responsibilities across IT teams. Candidate should be competent to work at a high technical level during all phases of a solution implementation and in supporting the solution through transitions. 24x7 on-call support will be required using a rotation schedule with teammates.

 Job Responsibilities
Develop, test and modify vendor-supplied application software.
Design modules and/or approaches, and required enhancements.
Develop block diagrams and logic flowcharts.
Code, review, prepare test data, test and debug and manage implementation of application building.
Produce program and user documentation for all applications created within the department.
Assist operational staff with support issues.
Assist the operational teams with root cause analysis and solutions to moderately complex production issues.
May proactively identify potential issues in the production environment and help recommend potential solutions.
Help plan and direct studies of potential electronic data processing applications and prepares design proposals.
Conduct analysis of systems specifications and use analysis/diagramming tools to represent business/technical processes. 
Recommend changes in development, maintenance and systems standards, and train users and support personnel on the conversion and implementation of the system. 
May provide guidance and training to less experienced analysts/programmers. 
Primary responsibilities will be to provide operational support for internal customers using e-mail and related services.
Supporting Lotus Notes Client v6.5.x and Domino Servers v6.5.x in a single Notes domain
Supporting and enhancing Notes Mail routing and SMTP routing
Supporting Blackberry Enterprise Server
Supporting Blackberry devices/end user issues/synchronization with Lotus Notes
Documenting technical environments, processes, procedures, test plans, and project plans
Receive and respond to incoming calls, pages, and/or e-mails regarding messaging problems.
Perform on-site analyze, diagnosis, and resolution of messaging problems for a variety of end users, and recommend and implement corrective hardware and software solutions, including off-site repair.
Aid in development of business continuity and disaster recovery plans, and maintain current knowledge of plan executables. Respond to emergency  outages in accordance with business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
Perform server and security audits.
Work with the server team to maintain system backups and recovery processes

 Job Requirements

 Education Required

Bachelor?s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent experience. Work Experience Required

1-3 years supporting Lotus Notes/Domino servers Skills and Knowledge Required
Good working knowledge of applications programming and analysis procedures. Working knowledge of languages as required for various projects.
Good communications, writing and editing skills needed to transfer information to individuals involved in the development process.
Good project leadership skills.
Acquire/enhance applications expertise, keeping up with evolving programming and analysis and database technology.
Understanding of web technologies
Experience with BlackBerry, Sametime, QuickPlace, or LEI is a plus
Experience with Lotus Notes/Domino development a plus
