Engineering Manager - Reporting Systems

We're seeking an Engineering Manager with proven experience in defining, designing and implementing web-based reporting systems for our media, customer care, and billing systems. The primary choice for this implementation will be SQL Server Reporting Services.

This position will report to the Director of Engineering and will be responsible for coordinating the development of the new reporting system using local and offshore talent.

Additional responsibilities will include:
--Interface with Product Management to create product release plans.
--Plan work assignments for Staff.
--Interface with QA and lead resolution of any production or quality issue.
--Ensure engineering standards/processes are followed and documented.
--Mentor Members of the team and additional staff
--Work with Software Architects to plan the architecture of new releases or modules.
--Coordinate and liaison for offshore resources.

Job Experience:
Requires:
--3+ years of Engineering management experience working on a COMMERCIAL PRODUCT or End Consumer Facing applicaton
--2+ years of experience working with MS SQL Database
--2+ years practical experience in developing web-based reporting applications required.
--1+ years of experience with ASP.NET and C# required.
--1+ years of experience with SQL Server Reporting Services or Crystal Reports
--Experience with development of business tools such as Digital Dashboard, Content Management Systems, CRM, and workflow engines a major plus.
--Reasonable knowledge of UML and the Unified Process
