Summary

Provide technical support, assistance and training to customers for their hardware and software telecommunication systems.

1.Provide technical support to customers, assistance and training in installing, applying, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining hardware and software of telecommunication systems used in transmission of information in voice, data, and/or video formats to ensure the availability and functionality of such systems, as well as interfaces with government management personnel and customer agency representatives.
2.Check cable runs, troubleshoot connection problems and run cables as needed.
3.Other duties may be assigned.

Education and/or Experience
High School diploma/GED and 2 - 4 years of progressive experience in the related field;

Computer Skills
Knowledge or exposure with Nortel Meridian Communications Portfolio, Octel Voicemail,
Cisco VOIP, and Poylycom video conferencing.
