The Spitfire Group is actively recruiting full-time team members with a minimum of ten years business and technology experience. Job Description

 

Responsible for helping direct the vision, design and architecture of software solutions in response to client needs. The technical architect is an active team member and may also serve in a team lead role on joint development efforts.  As a key client interface, the architect will be able to communicate technical information in business-relevant terms and work with client sponsors and team members at all levels. 

 

Requirements

 

-Minimum of ten years professional software development experience

-BS in a technical business discipline or equivalent

-Full Lifecycle Development experience will include application integration, framework structures, custom software applications and database technology

-Current, hands-on experience with contemporary languages and object-oriented development (Visual Studio, Java, J2EE, C#, C++)

-Proven ability to creatively conceive of and successfully deliver software application solutions that are practical, reasonable and business-relevant

-In depth understanding of Web Services, SOA, and n-tier architecture

-A passion for excellence and pride of ownership
