Enterprise ERP Architect

Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
As a member of Application Technologies Team, the responsibilities include:
- Lead architecture design engineering for new and existing ERP application systems and bolt-on application environments.
- Provide technical guidance for ERP architecture support activities and projects, including deployment, integration/consolidation initiatives and on-going support.
- Establish and maintain standards, procedures and roadmaps for new and existing technologies, ERP processes and SDLC in support of enterprise ERP systems.
- Research, develop and present technical recommendations for complex solutions and ERP support strategy.
- Hands-on guidance and participation in architecture design reviews and on-going operations reviews, while coordinating activities across various support and project organizations, ensuring delivery of flexible and robust architecture to meet the business needs.
- Oversee the activities of enterprise ERP application technical support teams.
- Establish and ensure QA rigor and compliance to Sox 404 General IT Controls for ERP environments in coordination with control and application owners.
- Lead projects following GE Security IT Project Management Methodology (PMM) as required.
- Interact with application stakeholders and peers introduce possible improvements and best practice.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience.
- 5-7+ years experience in business systems design and support including ERP applications, preferably with Oracle Applications.
- Demonstrated experience successfully leading technical projects in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to guide and coordinate across multiple projects, initiatives and support teams.
- Self-directed and demonstrates a broad spectrum of skills in information technologies.
- Proficiency in Oracle database technologies, large scale server and storage technologies.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to quickly grasp complex technical requirements
- Knowledge of industry standards, best practices and best-in-class solutions.
- GB Certification (applies to internal candidates only).

Desired:
- Masters degree in Business Administration, Information Systems/Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Significant experience with Oracle eBusiness Applications, ERP and CRM.
- Experience with integration and consolidation of multiple ERP environments and applications.
- Extensive interpersonal, written/verbal communication, organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent influencing and mentoring skills.
- Self motivated, with a strong desire to excel in a global, matrix organization.
- Proven track record of simultaneously managing multiple projects.
