Enterprise IT/Network Security and IT Audit Professionals

Clark Schaefer Consulting is the Management Consulting practice of Clark, Schaefer, Hackett & Co., serving elite, Fortune 1000 and emerging companies with practical solutions in Finance, Controls and Technology. Due to our rapid growth, we are currently looking to add both Staff and Senior-level IT professionals to our staff. These positions are full time, permanent and salaried positions and can be located in either our Cincinnati or Dayton office. This position will report directly to our Senior Operations Manager and provide the opportunity to help build and expand our Technology solutions practice.

Job Description:  The technology consultants will provide direct technology audit and IT security services & solutions to our clients. This position will also provide subject matter expertise and develop methodologies in the areas of IT system & network security, IT risk management and IT audit.

 

Primary Responsibilities: Provide customized IT security and audit assessment services that fulfill the scope of client engagement requirements and meet or exceed client expectations Assist with the development of project plans, methodologies, marketing materials and client proposals as needed Provide subject matter expertise and support to the firm?s business development team and participate in client meetings as needed Create timely and accurate project status reports for each engagement and provide these to the appropriate supervisor(s) as identified for each project Maintain a consistent level of chargeable hours to fulfill a minimum annual client billable hour requirement Travel to client locations as needed up to a maximum of 25-35% overnight travel (average travel is historically less than 25%). Maintain a commitment to continuing education and improvement

 

Education & Experience:Minimum Bachelor?s degree in IT, MIS, Accounting, Finance or other relevant fields Minimum of 3 years of relevant network administration, information security, enterprose risk or IT audit experience required; 2+ years of consulting experience strongly preferred Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CCSP, CIA are strongly preferred Must have expert level experience administering any of the following technologies: Unix, Windows Server, Internet, TCP/IP, router and/or firewall configuration Experience in client service activities such as: audit program development, data analysis and CAAT development, risk assessments, project management, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance methodologies, systems implementations and others is a definite plus.Must have excellent written & spoken communication skills Must have a passion for customer services and have a commitment to a career in consulting and professional services.
