Entry Level Database Developer Needed!

Clayton Fixed Income Services (formerly The Murrayhill Company), the premier credit risk management organization for the fixed-income industry, is seeking an Entry Level Database Developer.

 

The primary responsibilities of this position include obtaining data from multiple sources and using Microsoft SQL 2000 Data Transformation Services (DTS) to homogenize the data to a set schema.  This position requires the ability to manipulate data using T-SQL and DTS.  The candidate must have the ability to work as a self starting individual and as a member of a close knit IT team.  Good oral and written communication skills are required.  Specifically, this position will:

 

? Ensure availability of all Data Systems

? Provided timely service by resolving posted data issues in a timely and efficient manner

? Ensure the import DTS systems are maintained to adhere to business upload rules and efficiency

? Stay current with new technology tends and techniques to build additional efficiencies into the upload process

? Exposure to Microsoft?s SQL Database Architecture

? Working  knowledge of T-SQL

? Familiarity with Microsoft DTS

? Proficient in Excel and Access

? Ability to multi-task and manage deadlines

? Ability to work effectively in an open and team oriented environment

? Ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment

? Desire to learn new technologies

 

A BS in Computer Science or Information Systems is required. Certification in Microsoft SQL 2000 Server is preferred but not required.
