External Auditor - Oracle Financials and PeopleSoft Consultant

We are in need of a consultant to assist with the preparation of an upcoming Oracle Financials and PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM) Certification and Accreditations (C&A) under the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA).  The Consultant will work closely with the Team Leads and the Configuration Manager.

 

Scope of Work 

The Consultant must have specific experience in auditing according to the new NIST/FISMA guidelines in order to:

 

1.  Assist in developing the required FISMA documents including the system security plan and risk assessment.

 

2.  Conduct a preliminary C&A audit of the Oracle Financials System and state overall C&A opinion.

 

3.  Identify deficiencies and recommend specific remediation in a detailed report.

 

4.  Work with the ASAP Team Leads to complete the remediation.

 

5.  Educate the ASAP Team Leads regarding the process and requirements for a successful C&A audit

 

6.  Assist with the development of ASAP?s Configuration Management Plan providing feedback from an auditor?s perspective.

 

7.  Ensure that all procedures and document templates to be sued in demonstrating compliance are correct as to form and content.

 

8.  Conduct a preliminary C&A audit of the Peoplesoft HCM system and produce a report of the findings and recommended remediation.

 

9.  Conduct an information technology internal controls audit and document areas needing improvement.

 

Requirements

  At least three (3) years experience in the following areas:

 

1.  FISMA and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) guidelines

2.  Auditing information technology departments

3.  Configuration and change management

4.  Capability Maturity Model (CMM)

5.  Auditing experience for Oracle Financials and PeopleSoft Human Resources and Payroll
