FI/CO Project Manager

SAP functional analyst specializing in design and configuration of SAP FI/CO module as a member of the Apple SAP Global IS&T Organization. The candidate has applied software development and project management methodologies in the past to implement key projects. The position involves understanding new business strategies, providing recommendations for automated solutions to support new strategies and implementing the proposed solutions within pre-determined resources, budget and timeline. The candidate will require strong communication skills, effective leadership and excellent knowledge of SAP FI/CO module to work on complex, global and cross-functional projects.
The candidate?s responsibilities include working with the business users to define scope and gather business requirements, providing conceptual and detail design to meet business needs, performing necessary SAP configurations, writing detail specifications for development of ABAP custom programs, testing and implementing the automated solution. Strong verbal and written communication skills are crucial to this position as the candidate will interact heavily with business, other IT groups and 3rd parties on an ongoing basis. The candidate works well with minimal supervision and can work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Prior experience with certain business processes in the finance area such as service contracts, taxware integration, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance would be advantageous.


Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Accounting or equivalent will be preferred.
The candidate requires 3-5 years of SAP configuration experience in a subset of the FI/CO functional areas (General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Special Ledger, Fixed Assets).
