The SAP Functional Analyst position will work closely with the Finance department in designing and configuring the SAP FI/CO module.  The position involves understanding new business strategies, providing recommendations for automated solutions to support new strategies and implementing the proposed solutions with predetermined resources, budgets, and timelines.  Work with Finance and other internal groups to prioritize and implement system solutions, reporting systems, and improving business processes.

<b><u>PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:</b></u>
<ul>*Participates as the technical expert in the identification, design, configuration, testing, and debugging of the FI/CO module and all sub-modules: CCA, COPA, COOM, PCA, G/L, A/P, A/R, A/M and S/L.
*Works with business areas to understand problems and requirements with the system and recommends and develops specifications to resolve them.
*Prepares detailed functional specifications for development activities including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms.
*Facilitates knowledge transfer, communication, and interaction between different functional organizations.
*Analyzes business processes and recommend SAP FI/CO best practices, including providing conceptual and detailed designs.
*Follows all design work and integration testing procedures, change control procedures, uses standards, procedures, and practices in performing required work.
*Performs integration testing to insure that new functionality and enhancements do not adversely affect existing functionality.
*Trains end users on new enhancements or functionality as required and develops system user manuals.
*Utilizes ASAP methodology and tasks required during each phase of the implementation.
*Establishes and implements goals, policies, procedures, and performance indicators.
*Maintains service level agreements to insure prompt responses to customer inquiries.

 

SKILL SET/EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
*5+ years IT/applications experience.
*3+ years experience in SAP FI/CO configuration and support.
*FI/CO integration with PP, MM, WM, and SD is required.
*Experience with project lifecycle implementations using ASAP methodology preferred.
*Experience with 3rd party integrators is preferred.
*SAP AFS (Apparel Footwear Solution) experience is considered a plus.
*Ability to independently drive issue resolution, develop business knowledge and relationships and apply technical alternatives while operating in a rapidly changing business environment.
*Outstanding individual leadership and team building skills.
*Strong project management skills.
*Superb troubleshooting and analysis abilities.

*Sound business administration skills.
*College degree in Management, MIS or Computer Science is preferred.
