Position Overview

 

We are currently seeking a dynamic, customer-oriented Sales Engineer to expand our team.  This position will function as the primary IT technical resource working with our sales personnel.  This person will be the point of contact to get technical information from the Product & Technology Development Group to the sales representatives and will also be involved in high level pre-sales technical discussions with potential customers.  These responsibilities include, but are not limited to, discussions related to the integration of computerized carts in a wireless environment, data encryption, VPNs, and hardware specifications.  The Sales Engineer will also have after-sale responsibility including deployment and technical training of the customer?s bio-medical and IT staff. The Sales Engineer will also provide feedback to the Product & Technology Development Group on quality and performance issues, as well as other concerns customers have with Artromick product offerings.

The selected candidate should be prepared to travel to meet with customers and participate in product deployment, training, and installation. The travel requirement may be in the 40% to 50% range.

Qualifications: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required. Previous experience in a sales engineer or field technical support position preferred. Experience managing highly technical teams required.  Strong CIS or Engineering background required (degree preferred) specifically related to high-end networking, PC communications, wireless technologies and encryption, Windows 2000 and XP operating systems.  Cisco and/or A+ Certification preferred.  Familiarity with databases and .NET programming languages a strong plus.  Experience in the Health Care industry desired with a background working with hospital IT departments preferred.
