Financial Manager

This position carries responsibilities for assisting the CFO in managing the company's financial and financial management practices, and managing and executing, in accordance with government accounting standards, all budgeting, contracting, and accounting processes of the organization. This position requires supervising the staff and functions of the Finance organization. Other key responsibilities include formulation and implementation of organizational policies, practices, and planning processes that promote and sustain the financial growth, health, and stability of the organization.

Required Skills and Experience:Experience and expertise in government contracting and FAR. Well versed in federal government regulations.Familiar with the various DCAA audits and reporting requirements related to do business with the federal government.Financial management including generating and interpreting financial data using regular and timely financial reports.Demonstrated experience in developing and managing budgets.Demonstrated understanding of pricing strategies for government proposals.Experience and facility with DELTEK CostPoint and SAP.Develops indirect budgets, prepares annual forward pricing rate packages.Supervises the development of indirect budgets for twenty-plus program and staff departments.Assure charging of indirect costs to proper accounts/departments.Assist in developing and tracking fringe rates and tracking division level costs (i.e. capital spending, B&P, Taxes, etc.)Ensures compliance with all applicable government regulations.Prior experience with a business of similar size and complexity in the Federal marketplace.Strong interpersonal, leadership and communication skills.Ability to work in strict deadline environment.Presentation ability to senior managementSpecial projects as required.Ensures compliance with government and industry with regard to all consolidated financial statements and for Accounts Payable and expense reporting.Monitors SEC and FASB promulgation's and other changes in GAAP to ensure compliance. Acts as liaison between FNS and Federal government auditors (DCAA and DCMO, ACO)Prepares Cost Accounting Standards disclosure statements. Prepares and defends annual incurred cost submissions. Prepares and defends annual forward pricing rate packages.Provides analysis of current trends in Government cost and pricing regulations.Develops and oversees unallowable scrub process. Ensures compliance with all applicable government regulations. Writes internal policies as required. Oversees internal audit program.
