Accenture has been engaged to create a data warehouse for a client.The data warehouse should enable financial reporting from the platform. 

 

The Business Systems Analyst is required to work with business users to define business requirements. 

 

Responsibilities may include:

 Transition defined requirements to the offshore technical teamSupport the offshore team during all phases of the projectUnderstanding of Method 1 methodology and strict adherence to the clients standardsCreation and maintenance of interview templatesFacilitate interview sessions with business users to define requirements documenting detailed requirements and minutesFollow through on action items to completionCreation and maintenance of Analyze documentation (Project Definition Report, BSAR, supporting documentation, etc. )Document functional issues and resolutions in the issue management toolResearch requirements identified by users for feasibilityCreate estimating templatesLeverage documentation (interview templates, design templates, etc.) and provide feedback for improvementEnsure that Accenture meets the business users? needs by working with developers and testers (both onshore and offshore) to identify measures of success and reviewsEnsure that all deliverables complete the entire review process; review process includes owner review, peer reviews, Lead review and signoff, architect review and signoffProduce status reports with accurate ETC's highlighting accomplishments, tasks not accomplished, and  issues (with appropriate action items) that impact delivery datesBuild in depth platform knowledge (source system tables, data elements, etc.)Build knowledge of the Financial Services Industry

 

 

Qualifications

 Mainframe knowledge to include navigation of DB2 tables, file 3+ years Banking Industry experience required3+ years of Data Warehouse Reporting Tool development experience requiredMicrostrategy(preferred), Cognos, or Actuate development required2+ years of Dimensional modeling techniques required

 Slowly changing dimensionslarge dimensionsAggregation TablesSCD Type 1, 2, and 3Input Data analysis

 ETL Informatica preferred 4 year College Degree required and MIS (preferred) Flexibility to work with offshore team morning, evenings, and weekends as requiredPotential for limited travel to Manila
