The Services workforce is made up of four groups: Client Operations, Project Based, Delivery Centers and BPO Businesses.  Most of our people in Services are based long-term at a client location, an Accenture Delivery Center or, in some cases, an Accenture office.

 

Client Operations professionals are responsible for the day-to-day provision of long-term outsourcing services to one or several clients.  They design, manage and implement the activities associated with key business functions.  The difference with working in one of these functions at Accenture is that you?ll be in a front-line role.  You could have a customer-facing position where you will have opportunities to think differently, provide input to improve processes and ultimately deliver better services to clients. In some cases, you might be working on customized, innovative services for a single client.  In others, you may provide proven services to more than one client, making every day different and interesting.  But you will always be focused on delivering high performance.

 

The Testing Delivery Manager leads the development and testing work between the client Business Relationship Manager (BRM) Team and the India Development Center (IDC) Staff.  The Manager collaborates with the BRM Team to prioritize support requests then approves and allocates resources accordingly.  The Testing Delivery Manager supervises the Level of Effort completion and project work order generation.  In addition, the manager is responsible for tracking project status and escalating project issues to project leadership.  The manager leads the respective development team throughout the transition process ensuring that applications are migrated properly.  The Testing Delivery Manager leads the development capacity plans and assists the demand management team with capacity forecasting. 

 

Responsibilities may include:Leads and directs service capability and QA/testing which will ensure value realization of supported business processes and applicationsUnderstands client applications and has a broad understanding of effects business and configuration changes Leads Level 3 activities from design through implementation to ensure initiatives are on schedule, on budget and meet customer expectationsTracks project status and reports/escalates project issues Manages development capacity plans and assists demand management team with capacity forecastingImplements and ensures compliance with client application standardsSponsors and manages initiatives for continuous improvement of servicesLeads and manages the Testing Delivery Management team providing support, motivation and guidance; actively manages team performance through establishing expectations, promoting quality, measuring results and providing performance feedbackCoaches and trains team members, reviews work and monitors work flow; encourages teamwork and facilitates consensus building and problem solvingActs as knowledge resource; mentors less experienced team members

 

QualificationsMaster?s degree in Computer Science, Business, MIS or a related field, or equivalent education, training and/or experienceThorough understanding of client businesses and organization4 years+ applications development management experienceExperience managing QA/testing teams3 years+ project implementation experienceService Support operations experienceDeep knowledge of information systems architecture
