Fixed Assets Business Process Analyst

The Company has an opening for a Fixed Assets Business Process Analyst. This position is located in Houston, Texas. The Org provides high quality, value added services to Company divisions worldwide. This person participates with end user teams/groups to identify conversion, interface and additional application requirements; develops functional specifications for applications enhancements and business process improvements and participates in the development of technical specifications; coordinates process design in conjunction with established performance targets and metrics across broad, complex and tightly integrated business processes; and assists with identification of global roles, responsibilities and organization structures. This person identifies global SAP gaps and develops disposition plans; acts as liaison between division and company implementation teams, division process owners and implementation sites; and drives the application architecture in SAP and/or heavily influences business process change. This person assists in training less experienced business analysts/configurators and end users; supports and develops custom Fixed Assets creation/transfer workflows; develops, tests, and deploys Computer Aided Testing Tool (CATT) test procedures to facilitate data loads and/or processes large volumes. This person also handles special projects as assigned

Extensive knowledge of business processes and related system installations, conversions, interfaces and support; the ability to lead and implement continuous improvement processes; and excellent verbal and written communications skills are required. Candidates must have the ability to work in a fast paced, team environment. A BS preferably in a business or technical field or equivalent and 5+ years of experience as a business analyst is required. SAP configuration and/or support experience is preferred.
