Flight Manager-USAF Dispatch Operations

MTC Technologies is pleased to announce an opening for a Flight Manager - USAF Dispatch Operations supporting our operations at Hickam AFB in Hawaii. MTC will be seeking to expand its operations at the Pacific Air Command Air Mobility Division (AMD). AMD serves as a vital link for PACAF air mobility operations supporting command and control for Air Force functions both in peace time and crisis.

Flight Manager - USAF Dispatch Operations
This position supports 24/7 operations and will coordinate with the PAOC AMD Sr. Director as a member of the MTC Mission Execution Team and act as the flight dispatch expert. Duties include:
Provide aircrew with complete airline style mission/dispatch functions.
Function under the guidance of Air Force approved Integrated Flight Management (IFM) protocols in AFI11-255V3 as supplemented by PACAF.
Shares responsibility with Mission Manager to monitor and track status of aircraft for air mobility, airlift, tanker, DV/OSA and aeromedical flights in the PACAF Area of Responsibility (AOR)
Using approved Air Force flight planning systems: generate, amend (if required) and file computer flight plans / takeoff and landing data / weather packages; verify notices to airmen (NOTAMS) / airfield status / load information / diplomatic clearance / PPRs / etc.
Plans and executes HIANG mobility missions on request
Responsible for providing IFM 'Paper-the-crew' packages to all IFM mission sorties.
Coordinate re-routings and diversions with enroute mission sorties and support agencies
During 'out of the ordinary' operations, the Flight Manager will monitor other databases/ systems and support the Mission Manager as necessary for mission completion
Lead Flight Manager can serve as working Flight Manager and Mission Manager
Supervises Mission Managers
Serve as Deputy Chief AMCT in CORE AMD
Develops, interprets, proposes, and executes courses of action based on developing world/PACAF events, utilizing contractor checklists, experience, and judgment

Qualification Guidelines:
Valid FAA Aircraft Dispatcher Certificate
2 years as flight dispatcher with commercial air carriers or military air operations center or equivalent DOD experience
Lead Flight Manager position may require US Top Secret Clearance
Preferred Experience: 5 Years, Bachelors Degree Plus above criteria (min 2years college Credit)
