Full Time Systems Administrator / Consultant

Corevera, (www.corevera.com) a growing and fast-paced IT services firm with clients in multiple vertical industries seeks a Systems Administrator to join our talented team. This is a full-time position, with multiple client assignments. This position was previously advertised . As a Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for the day to day administration of desktops, laptops, servers, firewalls, routers for various clients. You will respond to calls for support, diagnosing equipment and configuration issues with a variety of applications on both desktops and servers, via e-mail, phone or through remote connection utilities, and will work closely with end users to resolve specific problems.

This position requires solid background in systems administration, consulting, and excellent customer service skills. Successful candidates must have the ability to work independently or within an existing team of IT professionals. End user support is a critical function of this position, and excellent communication skills are a must. Applicants must also have a valid CDL and reliable transportation.


Requirements:
-Must be highly disciplined, professional, self-motivated and able to function in a fast paced environment.
-Must have 3-5 years experience with Microsoft operating systems including Windows 2003 Server and Windows XP
-Experience in setup of server, desktop and laptop builds
-Experience with supporting and managing RAS, VPN, DHCP, DNS and WINS and Active Directory Services.
-Must have good understanding of network architecture and protocols.
-Experience supporting and configuring Microsoft Office and Outlook.
-Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
-Excellent verbal and written skills.
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.


Education:
-A Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience.
-MCSE Windows 2003
-CCNA (preferred)

Experience
-3+ years demonstrated experience as a systems administrator installing, configuring, and supporting Microsoft Windows 2000/2003/SBS servers in a client environment.
-3+ years demonstrated experience in customer service working face to face with in-house or on-site clientele.
-MCSE

Knowledge
-Microsoft server systems: Windows 2003 Small Business Server, Windows Server 2003, Exchange Server 2003, SQL Server 2000,
etc.
-Microsoft desktop systems: Windows 2000/XP, Office 2000/XP/2003
-Antivirus: Symantec, Trend, and McAfee
-Veritas' product lines (Backup Exec, Replication Exec, Storage Exec)
-TCP/IP, DNS, WINS, DHCP, SMTP, Active Directory
-Sonicwall, Watchguard, Cisco PIX, Checkpoint firewalls
-Remote access solutions (VPN, Dial-up, Terminal Services, Citrix, Remote Web Workplace)
