5280 Solutions Technical Consulting Services is seeking two GIS Business Analysts for 5 week-long contracts at a government client of ours located in Cherry Creek. The client needs to move quickly on this one, the project is slated to start July 24th and must be completed by August 31st.

These Business Analysts will produce use cases and a scope of work for the GIS application developers. They will meet with the end-users in order to gather the requirements and then transform the business requirements into a functionality document.

Candidates need to have solid BA background including strong people and communication skills to be able to interact with the end-users. Also needed is patience and understanding of the State environment.

The ideal candidates will have familiarity with ESRI's ArcGIS products or a similar mapping tool such as Idrisi, MapInfo or TNTMips. Also, they will be familiar with web application development including XML and Visual Basic is desirable. Since the application runs on a Windows 2003 Server and utilizes SQL and Access as the back-end databases, exposure to these technologies would be a plus.
