If you hold a bachelor?s degree in geography, cartography, GIS, engineering, urban planning or a related field, we would like to hear from you. Relevant work experience is a plus or can be considered in place of education. Our ideal candidate is GIS-savvy with regard to projections and coordinate systems; is familiar with wide-ranging cartographic principles, spatial data analysis, and geoprocessing tools and techniques; and is comfortable with ArcView, AutoCAD and Freehand MX. Attention to detail, a commitment to accuracy and great communication skills are key characteristics that our optimal candidate will possess.
