Geospatial Trainer

**Position requires an active high level security clearance to be considered**

 

SRA is a leading provider of information technology services and solutions - including strategic consulting; systems design, development and integration; and outsourcing and managed services - to clients in national security, civil government, and health care and public health.

 

SRA is currently seeking a Geospatial Trainer.  As a member of a large-scale training program, provide training and consulting support to government customers in a variety of tools and applications. Specifically, provide geospatial analytic tools training required to support government customers? various missions.

 

The candidate should have experience with varied geospatial applications and tools and be adept at quickly understanding client requirements for geospatial analysis. The candidate should be able to determine the best geospatial tool to use as well as define specific geospatial processing and analysis tasks to support and improve a client?s business process. In addition, the candidate should be familiar with various types and sources of geospatial data and be able to help clients develop geospatial project databases. The candidate should also be able to develop and document geospatial work flows to support clients. The trainer needs to be able to produce training documentation to include course material, user manuals, quick reference guides, flyers, charts, and briefings.



Candidates must meet the following requirements to apply:

 

*US Citizen

*Bachelor's Degree

*3+ years experience

*Requires knowledge and an experience base in ESRI ArcGIS and GoogleEarth. FalconView and ERDAS Imagine experience is a plus. A good working experience base in ArcGIS is desired.

*Active high level security clearance
