Job Specifics

Location: Whippany

Salary: TBD

Type: Full-time

 

Responsibilities:

? Manage Change Control

o  Track, QA and update network/server/etc changes via Remedy

o  Chair daily meetings with Operation & Support groups

o  Chair weekly meeting with Business groups

o  Produce and deliver daily reports

o  Maintain a web based change calendar detailing all high risk changes

? Negotiate maintenance contracts

o  For hardware/software devices utilized at Bear Stearns

o  Maintain contract/ support SLA?s in Remedy

o  Distribute monthly updates to senior managers and finance group

o  Perform and negotiate equipment/software additions/deletions to contracts on quarterly or as needed basis

? Metrics

o  Provide weekly metrics on our Operation areas. Numbers of calls handled, escalations, tickets, etc. (Remedy/Excel/ACD)

o  Provide monthly reports to managers (Remedy/Excel)

o  Provide on demand reports

? Turnovers

o  QA documentation, management and Chair turnover meeting to Operation groups.

o  Interact with Developers and Engineers to provide required information

o  Develop technical and or process procedures for operational support groups

?  Special projects

o  Can include gathering information to provide presentations to upper management (Remedy/Excel/Power point)

Qualifications:

 

? Technical understanding of network infrastructures, distributed systems and software application architectures.

? Proficient in Microsoft office suite, Visio.

? Detail oriented with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

? Strong and professional communications skills to chair meetings, interact with business and vendors.

? Professional writing skills

? Knowledge of Remedy and Web design skills a plus
