Global Portfolio Management Leader

Job Summary

The incumbant will be responsible for the development and implementation of a global IT portfolio management system that is extensible on a forward basis to all 3 BD business segments. More specifically, the incumbant will be required to work with IT Leadership team members, Segment Client Leaders and Key BD Business Leadership Team members on defining a portfolio management process, automated system and set of required organizational competencies. Upon successful build and implementation of this IT specific solution, the incumbant will be required to drive and manage the global portfolio management governance and associated "toll-gate" review process.

As the overall steward for the Portfolio Management process, the incumbant will also be responsible for driving the IT Global Execution Framework, Six-Sigma rigor and discpline across the organization via the candence and reviews established within the Portfolio Management process.

Overall, this is a strategic leadership role within the organization that will have broad visibility to the leadership team and impact on BDs strategic objectives.

Required skills and experience:
Six Sigma BB Certification; Experience/Certification
Rolling out Global Tools and Processes related to Portfolio Management in IT and/or Engineering;
Global Program/Project Management (Staff of 30 or more including staff outside of North America and at least 2 million in budgetary responsibility).

Preferred skills and experience:
Experience with Porfolio Tools and Engineering Tools for Product Development, Product Life Cycle Management and R&D; Vendor Management/Contract Compliance.


Educational experience:
A minimum of a Bachelors degree is required.
Undergraduate degree in Engineering/Math/CS and MBA/MS or related experience is preferred.
