Job Title - Great Plains Developer/Administrator

Job duties/Responsibilities Responsible for developing and designing data integration between outside databases and software applications and Great Plains. Create users, manage security and perform maintenance procedures. Create stand alone applications that integrate with Great Plains. Advise and provide technical support to Accounting/Finance Departments on best practices in using Great Plains. Generate ad-hoc reports, develop and maintain other financial, billing and reporting applications. Ability to meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision and guidance and provide written technical documentation. Ability to provide written weekly status reports.

A combination of knowledge of financial accounting, financial reporting, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance is preferred.

 

Education/Experience 5-7 years of Great Plains 8.0 or higher experienceKnowledge of the following modules in Great Plains: GL, AP, AR and Fixed Assets.3-5 years experience with SQL Server, DTS Packages, Stored Procedures, Views, SQL, .NET, Visual Basic Thorough knowledge of Crystal Reports, FRx Financial Reporter, FRx Forecaster and eConnect Experience with BizTalk preferred Microsoft Business Solutions Certified Master - Great Plains Installation and Configuration a plus Experience with PeopleSoft a plus.
