HELP DESK COORDINATOR
WorldStrides is the largest and most trusted educational student travel company in the country, providing a variety of educational travel programs to more than two million elementary, middle, and high school students since its inception in 1967. We are seeking a Help Desk Coordinator to provide a high level of customer service for internal customers at WorldStrides. Respond to requests using online help desk system via intranet and phone calls. Resolve, prioritize and assign tasks to proper IT support staff.
Ensure all help desk issues are investigated in a timely manner and the results are communicated promptly to the end user. Track all open help desk issues to ensure that issues are resolved to the end users satisfaction.
Works with the Director of Applications development to ensure that all application based problems are resolved in a timely manner.
Assist management in identifying negative trends in system performance or in the number of problems reported. Assist in the development and implementation of programs to reduce the number of internal customer service requests.
Qualifications:
? One to three years of end ?user support experience in an office atmosphere with a Bachelor degree in Computer Information Systems or related field required.
? Experience in networking (LANs, WANs, WWW, PPP, and dial up), MS Exchange email, microcomputer, Microsoft Office products, and windows operating systems including Win95, Win98, NT, XP, and Windows 2000 required.
? Proven ability to work in an office environment.
? Requires the ability to work on a computer inputting data; the ability to communicate verbally and in writing with other employees; the ability to visually review documents; and strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple assignments.
