HRIS Analyst

Job Description

Provides functional and technical guidance and support to clients for the appropriate usage of the PeopleSoft HRMS, including report design and generation, correction processing, security and table maintenance.  Participates in HRIS projects.  Participates in system upgrades and enhancements.

 

?  Supports development of procedures for users of PeopleSoft HRMS; includes development and maintenance of online training.

?  Maintains all HRMS tables to facilitate accurate and timely entry and maintenance of employee data.

?  Provides reporting and analysis support on a company-wide level for things such as headcount and compensation reporting. 

?  Recommends and designs complex or enhanced reports to satisfy client needs in the most efficient manner.

?  Conducts period audits on data integrity and corrects data and coaches users on trouble areas. 

?  Processes corrections for all divisions; maintains correction log.

?  Processes interdivisional transfers and rehires.

?  Processes transactions for executive level personnel.

?  Supports the administration of  the HRIS applications system security protocols and programs.

?  Collaborates with Information Technology staff to resolve problems and implement required changes.

?  Supports the development, maintenance, and enhancement of program conversions and upgrades.

?  Supports the development and implementation of project plans.

?  Coaches users on appropriate data entry procedures to ensure consistent use of the system by all users and proper information flow to various departments.  Also assists users in development of queries and modification of existing queries in public library.

 

Qualifications

Bachelor?s Degree in Business Administration, Computer Information Systems, or a related field and at least four years experience using/supporting PeopleSoft HRMS v8.8, including the ability to develop and run complex queries, create reports, and provide analysis on SQRs as well as navigate the various modules within PeopleSoft 8.8.  A strong functional knowledge of human resources and payroll functions is essential. Additional related experience may substitute for the degree required as appropriate.

Must have experience using MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.  Strong verbal and written communications skills as well as customer service skills are required.  Must have experience presenting technical information and training on PeopleSoft to audiences with varying technical skills and/or familiarity with PeopleSoft.  Must be able to work in a team environment and coordinate multiple tasks/projects with varying timelines and priorities.

Prefer experience using Crystal Reports and PeopleSoft Productivity Kit.
