Hardware Technician

Pomeroy IT Solutions, a leading national information technology company with close to $1 billion in revenues and 3,000 people throughout the US, is proud to announce openings within our organization for the position of IT Hardware Technician in the Allentown area. This is a challenging position utilizing your skills to represent Pomeroy IT Solutions in servicing and maintaining an extensive network of Desktop, Laptop, Printer and other IT Hardware devices. This position requires 100% local travel 45-90 miles around the Allentown area.

 

**** Pay range is $11-$14/hr plus commission and mileage reimbursement.******

 

The candidates must be able to:

?  Respond, Diagnose, and Repair Servers, Desktops, Laptops, Printers, Point of Sale and other IT Hardware Devices.

?  Complete a wide range of hardware repair to the satisfaction of the customer while meeting the Service Level Agreement.

?  Share an on-call rotation to support 24 Hours per day / 7 Days per week mission critical equipment.

?  Utilize cell phone, pager, Service on Line, or other device to communicate technician location, call tracking and escalation, and provide/receive technical support.

?  Mentor team members as deemed necessary by management for the benefit of the team.

?  Willing to travel within and beyond assigned regions.

?  Manage assigned inventory, Cross Ship Core parts daily, and complete all required paperwork accurately and promptly. 

?  Maintain a professional attitude, demeanor, and appearance with customers, peers, management, and others at all times.

?  Enhance both Internal and External Customer Satisfaction by consistently completing the responsibilities as outlined above.

 

This position requires the following:

?  A+ Hardware certification

?  Minimum one year hardware experience on a variety of IT equipment

?  Confidence, Motivation, and Organization

?  Attention to Detail, an Analytical thought process, and Accuracy.

?  Must be able to work well under pressure

?  A positive team oriented attitude.

?  Clean background check
