Hardware Technician - Electronics

Microsoft Gold Certified Partner seeks technician for administrative duties and hardware repair at our offices and onsite. Our emphasis is on your hardware skills -A+ and Network+ certs are a must. You also will need good people skills and speak English clearly because you will be required to visit client sites.

 

Administrative duties

 Do product research, pricing and purchasing. Create PO?s in Quickbooks at time of purchase Create PO?s in Track It!, then add info during the sales cycle including serial numbers and part numbers Review vendor invoices, compare to quotes, prepare for payment Maintain good relationships with vendors Create client invoices as required Input IBM warranty and non-warranty client info in Track It!

 

Technical duties

 Help with the design and implementation of client projects Should have the ability to pull and terminate cable or be a fast learner. Troubleshoot Server and PC hardware issues as they arise Troubleshoot Microsoft desktop issues Winnt/2000/XP/2003 Setup, configure and install new machines for clients. Create users and rights, backup images and restore points. Setup, configure and troubleshoot handheld devices (Blackberry, Palm) Setup, configure and troubleshoot wireless networks ? Routers, Access Points and Bridges.

 

A+ Certification required

Network + Certification required

IBM or HP repair certifications strongly desired

Microsoft certifications helpful but not necessary. We will give a real world test anyway. Please respond with Hardware Technician in subject line. Competitive salary.
