Healthcare IT Project Manager

We are currently seeking an Infrastructure/technical project manager for planning phase (only) of Cerner phase II implementation of clinical documentation and CPOE, which goes live in the fall of 2007

Responsibilities include: Defines and develops infrastructure project plan, including key deliverables & resources Identifies deliverables for network integration Identifies deliverables for desktop integration Identifies deliverables for integration with Help desk and production support Identifies deliverables for integration with the Master Facility Plan Identifies deliverables for integration with Clinical Engineering Completes point of care assessment Plans, organizes, and coordinates with nursing analyst(s), end users, IT technical analyst, and facilities department to conduct the assessment Defines device strategy in collaboration with stakeholders Defines device procurement Revises project infrastructure budget based on outcome of POC assessment Develop training, testing, and security plans to meet defined infrastructure requirements for Phase II program

Required Skills: Infrastructure project management experience. Excellent communication skills

Desired Skills: Healthcare IT clinical systems implementation experience CPOE implementation experience Cerner implementation/support experience Point-of-care assessment experience Minimum Certifications or Other Professional

Credentials: PMP certification (or in process) required
