Healthcare Senior Statistician

 

Assurant Health has an opening for a Senior Statistician for join our Forecasting and Advanced Analytics Department.  This person will be responsible for designing and conducting advanced analyses using statistical modeling approaches to address business issues.  The areas of application include, but not limited to, risk scoring, customer segmentation, pricing, underwriting, and business forecasting.

 



 

Incumbent is required to have:

 

?  Comprehensive knowledge in one or more of these fields:  linear/non-linear regressions, cluster/factor analysis, survival analysis, and/or econometric time series. 

?  SAS proficiency and database knowledge.

?  A doctorate degree in statistics, economics, mathematics, or related quantitative field.

?  Excellent communication and study project management skills  

?  Work experience of at least 3 years in insurance, financial services, or marketing industry is a plus.
