Help Desk Level 1 (POS Suppport)

The Wet Seal, Inc., a specialty retailer of fashionable and contemporary apparel and accessory items is headquartered in Foothill Ranch, California. The company currently operates Wet Seal and Arden B. stores, totaling over 400 stores in 47 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico.



 

We are currently seeking a Level 1 Help Desk Associate for our Corporate Office located in Foothill Ranch, California.



 

SUMMARY:

Support the stores to assure stability of systems, and the communication to the corporate office.  Cater to problem stores and District Directors to assure uptime and a positive image of the department. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

?  Provide excellent customer service to stores requesting support

?  Monitor Datavantage, to assure stores are operating at peak efficiency & that they are connected

?  Monitor Portal

?  Order and ship out hardware to stores

?  Order Dell Tech?s for new & down stores & track equipment/parts being shipped

?  Order Technicians to clean up store problems

?  Install DSL and change Tax Rates for stores

?  Store Sonic Wall monitoring and POS Poll Ping Page

?  Repair/Test APC UPS?s, Scanners, and Epson Printers

?  Download Tax and Chain Loc files

 

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

?  Requires 1-2 years previous Help Desk experience or in a related field

?  Requires basic computer skills, with troubleshooting and a knowledge of basic TCPIP structure

?  Requires previous customer service experience & excellent organizational skills

?  Degree or Certification in related field preferred
