Immediate need in the Lancaster California area

Experience Requirements:Minimum 1 years experience of PC Troubleshooting on computers, running Microsoft Windows Operating SystemsMust possess excellent verbal, reading, comprehension and customer service skillsBe able to install and configure PCI and ISA network cards and other network devices as well as install and configure network protocols (TCP/IP, NetBEUI, IPX/SPX, ect.)Possess knowledge of Microsoft networking and file sharing. Have knowledge of basic router operation and setupPrior telephone customer service experience. ISDN, cable and DSL knowledge, wireless 802.11 networking experience and/or proficiency with MS Office and Outlook are pluses but are not required.Must possess a positive attitude and be willing to learn.

 

Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:Using tel. e-mail, Fax and Web to support customersproviding customer support for installation, configuration and troubleshooting for PCI, ISA and PCMCIA network cards, home networking kits and other network devices on Windows 95, 98, 2000, XP and Windows NTProperly log all support calls, customer info, problems and solutions into internal or external Help Desk applications. Edit/update information in Help Desk applications. Conversing in a professional manner with customers who are often inexperienced on the computing topic.Properly follow directions and proceeduresABLE TO WORK ANY SHIFT OR WORK SCHEDULE
