We are currently looking for level one Help Desk Agents!
LOCATION: Elgin, Illinois
COMPENSATION: $11-12/hour
Ajilon Consulting is looking for several Level One Help Desk Consultants, with hourly and salary positions available. Position will require 100% phone support for a Global Service Desk; and an excellent customer service attitude. Position would begin as a level one Help Desk position with entry level compensation.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
. Answer and respond to incoming requests and resolve customer problems via the telephone.
. Act as a single point of contact for resolution of issues.
. Document customer requests in call tracking system.
. Interact with customers and co-workers to diagnose and resolve problems.
. Troubleshoot, analyze, resolve, track, escalate and accurately document various technical problems.
. Support feature, functionality, and usage of specific applications.
. Troubleshoot software and hardware problems.
. Provide Level 1 technical support.

Job Experience:
REQUIRED SKILLS:
. A+ Certification (Consultant will be required to obtain the A+ Certification within the first 4 months of starting the Help Desk Position).
. HDA Certification (Consultant will be required to obtain this certification within one year of employment).
. 1+ year of customer service experience with strong phone skills.
. 1+ year of help desk experience recommended.
. Ability to solve level I computer issues; such as basic software and operating system inquiries.
. Proficiency with all Windows operating systems, Novell, Windows Active Directory Infrastructure
. Strong written and verbal communication skills, effective listening skills
. Ability to learn and apply technical information in a fast-paced, demanding work environment
. Ability to follow policies and procedures; attention to detail
. Candidates are required to complete a background check and drug screen.
. Applicants must be reliable and understand time management.
