Duties: The Help Desk Specialist will provide support to the Defense Civilian Personnel Data System (DCPDS) to include receiving, logging and documenting issues; escalate issues to an Administrator or DBA as necessary

Qualifications:
Must have a Bachelors degree in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
3-5 years of professional experience preferred.
Demonstrated functional government HR personnel knowledge is required, and is creditable towards professional experience.
Must possess developer level knowledge of DCPDS and an ability to analyze problems and assist with solutions, recreate issues prior to distribution to testers and the ability to enter problems into chosen tracking tools (Remedy and Test Director) as well as search for existing known problems and solutions.
Must have excellent oral and customer service skills.

**** Must be elgible to obtain a Secret Clearance****
